The Midwest Suburban
League (MSL) has entered into a 5 year agreement with
Morton West High School to provide a winter training facility.
This indoor practice facility is located at 2400 Home, Berwyn
IL., at the north end of the school in the field house.
The training facility opens January 8th, 2011, and
will be available every Saturday afternoon from 12:30 pm until
8:00 pm through Feb. 27th (March 6th
and 7th is not available due to school needs on the 6th
and League draft on the 7th)
These practices will be
open to any MSL/CNMSBL member. Now, you baseball diehards no
longer need to wait until your team is ready to practice! If
your team isn’t ready to practice, simply come on your own and
practice with other participants who want to improve their game
just like you. Got a few buddies that you want to practice
with…Great! Bring them along. No reservations needed for groups
of less than 10.
Got a full team
chomping at the bit to practice? No problem. Full teams are also
welcome. All we ask is that for any group of 10 or more to
contact the League Office in advance so we can be sure to
accommodate you. This is really a requirement so that we can
keep things running smoothly.
Managers. Do you want
to know more about a potential winter pick-up before someone
else grabs him? Come on down and try out that new player at our
facility where you can really put him through their paces! Its
the perfect place to see what they can do!

Participants will be
able to drill full infield at this facility, and your
entire team can warm up at the same time. So hey, let the snow
fly, because your practice will be indoors! We have 2 separate
infields. Both are 90 ft infields.

Batting practice will
be in 2 hitting tunnels with Iron Mikes, your team will have the
use of one infield, a batting cage, and a pitching mound, for
2hrs.

All equipment will be supplied by
the MSL except for personal equipment such as bats, batting
gloves, gloves, and catchers gear.
Remember prices are based on two
hours slots. So rise and shine sleepyhead and
really get your money’s worth! We
will be working to add addition training equipment, as needed.
We are working on weeknight times
also!
Umpire School
We will also be holding
an umpire's
school during these scheduled dates, and when you have
successfully finished your training you will be IHSA certified.
Player in the League?
Here’s your chance to make a difference in the quality of MSL
umpiring, and to make money doing it! This is the perfect job
for college baseball players while your home from school. We
will have over 2,000 games for our umpires work this coming
summer at all times of the day, Monday through Sunday. If
you are interested in joining us for umpire training and would

We will have deals on umpire’s
equipment too. Typical payback is in just eight games, which
represents a mere two weeks of work!
