The 2008 Draft order has now been set and is presented in the left column. Numerous players have confirmed and are expected at this year's draft.

The draft will be held at the Bridgeview Sports Dome, a comfortable climate-controlled sports arena (Players are encouraged to dress for temperatures in the mid 50's). The dome boasts a double-deck 46-tee driving range from which managers can observe the performance of draft participants. 

The playing surface is Astroturf, and the field depths are sufficient for a full infield, and the dome height allows outfielders to take fly balls. 

Participants are required to pay a registration fee of $25. We accept credit cards, cash, or check. For your convenience, payment can be made in advanced by using our online payment page.

The Draft will be held March 1st

The draft order will repeat as necessary until the player pool is exhausted or until teams have completed roster selections.

If any teams chooses not to participate, the draft order simply will move up accordingly. Any questions regarding the draft procedures or order can be directed to the Midwest Suburban League.

Participants will receive a numbered jersey, so that team managers can identify you. The draft begins with participants taking defense in the infield and outfield positions. Participants should select one and only one position to try out at (presumably their strongest position).  Pitchers who play additional positions will be allowed to try out at pitcher and their best additional position.

Participants will go to their selected position where they will be given three plays. Infielders will receive ground balls where they will throw to the designated base and/or turn double plays. Outfielders will receive three fly balls and throw in to a designated target.

When finished with defensive drill, the pitching machine will be setup and participants will hit. During this time, pitchers and catchers will move off to the side to demonstrate their skills and rotate into hitting as necessary. After the drills are completed, team managers from up to 53 teams will draft according to the schedule selecting the players they want.

From I-294 north exit at 95^th St west to Roberts Rd, then right or north to 87^th, then right again (east) to the first light before the overpass and follow the signs.

From I-294 south exit 95^th St to Harlem north to 87^th , then left on 87^th (west) over the bridge to the light at the bottom, then left and follow signs.
