2003 ALL STAR GAME
The 2003 MSL All Star Games will take place
Saturday, July 26th at Alexian Field in Schaumburg. For a

WEEKEND RECAPS - 6/30
SEMINOLES 11 RIVER BANDITS 5
The hot Seminoles came out and drowned the River Bandits,
beating them 11-5 to get there record to 8-5, good for a tie of
the division lead. While the "Noles" offense pounded out 13 hits
led by Marty Henning (3-4, HR, 5 RBI's), whose 2-run blast in
the 3rd inning put the Noles up for good, Jeff Suspenzi shut
down the Bandits going 5 innings giving up only two runs, one
earned and he notched his 3rd victory of the year and improved
his ERA to 1.99 per game, tops in the division. The Bandit
offense only could mustar up 5 hits all game while Suspenzi
dominated with his off-speed finesse. After a dose of the Noles
heavy offense, led by Marty Henning, Henning got beaned in the
back late which caused a little contraversy. Both teams hook up
again in two weeks. The Noles catch the Red Sox right before the
All-Star game, with a win, the Noles could control the All-Star
game with first place finish. Eddy Kowalcyk should come of the
DL and the join the Noles against the Red Sox.
